Today I will review one of the hawker stalls located in West Singapore. A little bit of info about this location. The stall located in Beauty World Food Centre, on the fourth floor under Beauty World Centre mall. This mall was opened in 1984. There are few eateries, Giant supermarket, fast-food chain, and you may also find old antic shops. From the outside, the mall looks a bit rundown. But you may find everything you need inside. Nearby, there is a long street of shop lot full of eateries. It is a nice place to explore when you have your free time.
As I mentioned earlier, Beauty World Food Centre located on the highest floor. I take my sweet time using the escalator all the way up. Once you exit from the escalator you will notice a long queue. Top 1 Home Made Noodle located right at the corner. The stall location will be shared below. I arrived at about 1:00PM (SGT) on Saturday noon, it is very crowded. The picture was taken below, I am still in the queue.
They have various types of Home Made noodles in sizes. You can choose from fine, flat, bee hoon and few more types. Not to worry, they placed noodle samples for you to choose from. Next, you may need to choose the type of soup. They have clear soup, tom yum soup which will be spicy, and dry noodle which contains dark sauce. Then, choose the extra add-on if you would like to add. The normal noodle will only have meatballs and slices of pork. You may add sliced fish, more meatballs, prawns, or may go for luxury ingredients, abalone!
For this round, I tried the common Home Made Thick Soup Noodle. As you can see in the picture taken below, it comes with fried onion, some spring onion, slices of mushroom, crispy anchovies, a total of 3 meatballs, and few mixtures of minced and slices of pork. The soup is very flavorful when you mix it all together. A bowl like this costs you $5.00 (SGD). This is a recommended meal when you crave something hot especially on current wet weather in Singapore.
1. Arrive early. Stall open at 10:30AM (SGT).
2. They have break time in between (Not operating).
3. Queue to place order.
4. Look for sitting place.
5. Just nice order is ready.
How to get to Beauty World Centre?
Take the Downtown Line till Beauty World MRT Station, Exit A. Walk straight about 4-5 minutes. You will notice Beauty World Centre is on your right.
